This is a very interesting website that I accidentally left out, but will not only be adding as a listed website (under government), but will also do a quick blog about.
The websites can be found here:
The official policy of North Korea is that the country is run by a popular front consisting of the Workers Party of Korea, Korean Social Democratic Party, Chondoist Chongu Party, and various other mass organizations. This popular front is known as the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland.
Again it is also state ideology and belief that Korea is one country, with the DPRK being the rightful government of the whole peninsula. In this respect, the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front works as the southern equivalent of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland.
Currently it works as an underground Socialist group in South Korea – or as a DPRK spy agency, depending on your opinion on things.
It was formed in 1969 as the Revolutionary Reunification Party, before becoming the National Democratic Front of South Korea in 1985, and before adopting its current moniker in 2004.
Under the national security law of the Republic of Korea, the party is banned in the south.
Excluding the liaison office in Kaesong it is the only “South Korean” organization to have an office in Pyongyang. It also has one in Japan linked to the Chongryon Korean residents association.
The English website is a bit dated and has a lot of the same content you would see on Korean Central News Agency, but there is extra information about the activities of the mission in Pyongyang, as well as the history of the organization and its goals.
It links to a number of “solidarity” wesbites such as the Korean Friendship Association, and various other Juche-type organizations.
